Sun-as-a-star Analyses of Various Solar Active Events Using H? Spectral Images Taken by SMART/SDDI

Sun-as-a-star analyses, in which observational data is spatially integrated, are useful for interpreting stellar data. For future applications to observations, we performed analyses of H$\alpha$ spectra various active events on the Sun, not only flares and filament eruptions/surges solar disk, but also eruptions off limb prominences using spectral images taken by Solar Magnetic Activity Research Telescope / Dynamics Doppler Imager (SMART/SDDI) at Hida Observatory, Kyoto University. All analyzed show emission relative pre-event state changes their equivalent widths all orders 10$^{-4}$ \r{A}. exhibit different features depending causes emission: (i) Flares line center, together with red asymmetry broadening, as reported a previous study. (ii) Filament without near accompanied blue-/red-shifted absorption. Notably, disappearance dark filaments leads apparent enhancement center emission. (iii) Eruptions These enable us identify phenomena Sun-like stars. We have found that even showing red-shifted absorptions lead coronal mass ejections (CMEs). This result suggests if falling components detected spectra, such may develop into CMEs.
